Creepy AF Delivery Driver Leaves 4-Page Note For Customer Who Forgot $4 Tip

The tipping culture in America is a lot different to here in Australia. In the land down under, we tip someone because they’ve gone out of their way to do an exemplary job and they really do deserve a little bit of extra cash in their pocket. In the States, tipping is pretty much compulsory and a lot of people need tips in order to supplement the horrendous minimum wage they’re stuck with.

While most folks will tip every time, no one’s obligated to shell out a bit extra every meal and tips still have to be earned. So when someone forgets to tip you, it’d be a good idea to take it in your stride or at the very most, call them a few unsavoury names behind their back.

One thing you should definitely, definitely never do is enter full creeper mode and return to the house of a previous customer with a four-page essay detailing how shit of a human being they are for forgetting a $4 tip.

Which, as you’d expect, is exactly what happened to Lauren Ledford when she ordered something from courier service, forgot to give old mate a tip and copped a blasting of a lifetime.

Ledford believes that about 6 days after she ordered, she came home to see the driver’s letter waiting at her door. Ledford posted the last two pages of the letter on facebook and honestly, it’s a wild read, with the driver admitting he was high while writing, some extremely inaccurate facts about the female anatomy and a little sprinkle of racism for good measure.

“Please next time, tip your delivery driver. And if it turns out that delivery driver is me again, and you do not tip yet again, I’m probably going to rob you,” reads one particularly disturbing paragraph. “I’m only joking, but not really. Don’t risk it though. Who knows what a disgruntled delivery driver who can’t afford to eat that day is capable of.”

Ledford has since reported the driver to Postmates and local police, Postmates released a statement saying “Harassment of any kind is not tolerated on the Postmates platform and we are sincerely sorry for this customer’s experience.” They went on to say “Immediately after being notified of this incident last week we removed the independent contractor from the platform.”

Obviously, the driver still knows where Ledford lives, so you can hardly call removing his income and pissing him off further a great move.
