NSW Bans Vaping In Public With A Hefty $550 Fine For Anyone Caught

Once upon a time, I was working in a bar that didn’t allow smoking on the balcony. It’s 2018 and I’m pretty sure that every reasonable person has figured out where you are and are not allowed to smoke.

I was toiling away when I notice one bloke pull out a vape pen and start puffin’ some serious clouds, brah. I went over and told him to stop and he absolutely cut the shit at me, screaming “IT’S JUST VAPOUR YA DICKHEAD WE ALL BREATHE IT”.

He then finished his drink hurridly and stomped off, and ever since that day I’ve absolutely despised vape users with every fibre of my being.

So, imagine how pleased I was when I found out that NSW is slapping anyone caught vaping in public with a $550 fine come July.

NSW joins Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania, South Australia and the ACT in banning e-cigs, and comes as more and more people are pushing to have limitations put on cigarettes’ less-fun cousin.

There’s also hopes that banning vapes will allow non-smokers to move more freely, as apparently those using e-cigs believe they’re able to chuff wherever they so please.

The move comes as a heap of other places in the world are looking to crack down on vaping, with Singapore banning e-cigs and various places in America locking them down.
