In the face of an impending nuclear war, it’s quite normal to feel some form of terror creep into the pit of your stomach. Thankfully, just when it looked like all was lost and humanity would be reduced to an apocalyptic wasteland, one hero stepped forward: Dennis Rodman.
That’s right, speaking to Good Morning Britain, the Basketball legend hoped that he’d be able to facilitate a breakthrough between the United States and North Korea, in some part thanks to his close relationship with the North Korean Dictator.
“For me to go over there and see (Kim) as much as I have, I basically hang out with him all the time. We laugh, we sing karaoke, we do a lot of cool things together. We ride horses, we hang out, we go skiing, we hardly ever talk politics and that’s the good thing,” Rodman said, according to a transcript.
“I don’t love (Kim). I just want to try to straighten things out for everyone to get along together.”
Isn’t that lovely?
He also went on to express his admiration for Donald Trump, but said he could also be “a little bit crazy sometimes.” Well… no shit.
North Korea continues to ignore warnings from the US, their ally China, the United Nations and pretty much everyone else on planet earth.
Hopefully Dennis can step in to save the day.
