Darren McKeeman, the San Francisco-based co-founder of KinkBNB, doesn’t think there’s enough dungeons for rent. At least that’s what we assume, given the man behind KinkBNB and his business partner have made an entire marketplace that panders to sexual fetishes best acted out in windowless rooms.
“The business was inspired after a friend of mine had a listing incident with AirBNB,” McKeeman told The Huffington Post. “They rejected her place because there were sex toys visible in the photos.” Described as a platform for kink-friendly accommodations in vacation hotspots, McKeeman believes the platform will be a hit with people who don’t wish to take their whips, chains or sex toys through customs.
According to McKeeman, the website only took an hour to set up, and since going live, more than 100 people have signed up. The platform now houses 12 dungeons/dens/whatever you’d call a room perfectly suitable for inflicting pain.
As a person who doesn’t enjoy any of the previously mentioned activities, I can’t understand how this will be effective in the long run. But I’m just a regular old missionary peasant.
