Thanks to Val Kilmers House Party, this Friday night I’m going to spend 15 smacks and attend a dope party at Bowler Bar. Not only are they showcasing the insane talents of WolfWolf (who we interviewed/raved about just here) but they’ve stacked the card full of young producers we can’t get enough of late. Like who? you say, your nose scrunched up at the possibility of a fresh lineup of locals you haven’t heard 1000’s of times before. Well, here’s a few examples;
Exploading Koala
Supremely cool name aside, this guys Soundcloud is stacked full of gems he’s produced. The fact he’s not frequenting the late night watering holes more often leaves us baffled, but when did the Brisbane scene ever make sense? Take a listen to ‘Roller Coaster’ below, a good example of the uniquely tantilising sound he’s got going on. If you like it, you can listen to some more here.

We’ve loved what this kid does for quite some time now. On the back of winning the Seven remix comp and a cool $500 cash, he’s racking up a solid cross section of audio that’s hard to put down. Somewhere between jazz, hip hop and down tempo electronica, he’s nurturing a sound that we can only see getting more and more attention. Have a peep of his remix of Matt Corbys ‘Made of Stone’ track. It’s perfect mood setting audio if you’re trying to bed a woman.
