DJ Sliink is by far my favorite producer over the past year. The impact he’s stirred across the field of the EDM industry and through Jersey club music has unfolded explosively. Acts such as Mad Decent, Brenmar, Canblaster, Sam Tiba, and Pelican Fly have recently taken a vast liking towards the Jersey Club movement and so have received Sliink with open arms.
Some time ago, the up-scale producer had passed me news that he’d be releasing a spanking new EP for LA’s newly formed label, Body High. The 5 track EP, titled, “Vibrate”, is sure to make your beautiful booties bounce. Although I enjoyed all the tracks from the EP, the two tracks that caught my ear were, “Put Cha Back In It” and “Emergency”. “Put Cha Back In It” was the very first single to open my eyes to the Jersey club world, quickly guiding me close to Sliink and his stack of bumping musical goods. The second track called “Emergency” sustains its creative ways in its turbocharged sound, and loopy synth patterns. In the end, this release will not only make one appreciate the many sounds that fill electronic dance music, but, it will also boot your interest in the equally expanding Jersey club movement.
