A Restaurant For Stoners Opens In Sydney Tomorrow At 4:20pm

Stoners have an unbreakable bond with food. The munchies are so much more than just a post-sesh phenomenon: it’s a way of life, a habitual pattern of existence that permeates their every waking moment. So, it’s no surprise that companies are pandering to this unwavering obsession, and what better way to do it than to open a dedicated restaurant for stoners. Enter D’Munchies, the new creation from Sydney-based chef David Pyne.

According to Broadsheet, the restaurant will serve, “pretzel baguettes; crunchy pretzel-infused ice-cream; dense burgers with prosciutto and creamy brie; and pepperoni-pizza hot dogs. The most indulgent dish is the deep-fried ravioli nachos – a gateway snack, if ever we’ve seen one.”

The owner stated:

“It’s pretty obvious how the idea came about. It’s a very loud statement, but that’s sort of what we’re about. It’s for people who enjoy that, and that’s what we’re here for.”

“Nobody’s ever glassed someone while they’re stoned.”
 

“If you want to go out and smoke a joint, you should be able to.”
