However, I do know a bloody good meme when I see one and in that regard the nearly 36-year-old song has well and truly delivered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, one man has vowed to take his appreciation of the song to incredible new heights, after setting up an art installation that will play the hit song on a continuous loop until the sands of the Namibian dessert wash it away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Namibian artist Max Siedentopf said he set up the installation to pay homage to the hit song, constructing solar-powered batteries to ensure the song was played continuously for as long as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[I] wanted to pay the song the ultimate homage and physically exhibit &#8216;Africa&#8217; in Africa,&#8221; explains the 27-year-old artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Some [Namibians] love it and some say it&#8217;s probably the worst sound installation ever.
