Whether or not you smoke weed, you probably like pizza. It’s likely that you’re also open to the idea of feeling really relaxed, to the point of not wanting to move off the couch. Henry Mark, the proud owner of Stoned Oven Gourmet Pizzas, knew that this combination was a surefire winner. Thankfully, he also had the capital required to make something happen, which turned out to be THC laced pizza.
Thanks to an ethanol extraction method, Stoned Oven Gourmet Pizzas are providing circular disks of goodness that pack in as much as 250mg of THC, which essentially means you’ll be high flying by the last slice. The company are currently selling 2,000 – 3,000 a week in and around the LA district, providing a two-bird-one-stone deal for all the hungry potheads. The owner is also looking at introducing new strands of weed to his $10 creations.
The influx of weed-laced edibles in the US is all thanks to the loosening of marijuana laws. It’s expected that Australia will begin to follow suit, especially with the recent approval of medical marijuana testing in NSW (more here).
