NBC has just reported on one of the most determined stoner stories of recent time, involving a 2002 Brown Buick, Michigan state troopers and a post-crash cone that will go down in the record books. At approximately 3am on Sunday morning, a vehicle sped away from officers in Lucas County. They gave chase, and the pursuit turned out to be a big one, reaching speeds of up to 180kmph. While all of this was happening, it’s alleged that the suspect was smashing billys in the front seat, all while trying to maintain control of his car. Eventually however, control evaded him, and he rolled the car three times. As officers approached and tried to break the window and arrest the man, it was noted that he was still smoking cones.
When the driver was approached by three officers, he showed no signs of being injured. He looked up, lit up a marijuana bong and began smoking while the officers attempted to break out a window.
The unidentified suspect was taken into custody and is being held in the Monroe County Jail on charges of fleeing and eluding, possession of marijuana, and operating under the influence of drugs.
