Northern California medical marijuana dispensaries are giving away up to $200 worth of free cannabis to patients affected by a hugely destructive wildfire. Two companies spread across five dispensaries are giving away the bundles, which can be nabbed from San Francisco, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol and Lake County through until Oct. 7.
The fire wreaked havoc across 118 square miles, destroying more than 1,950 homes and killing four people. The two companies donated $20,000 worth of marijuana-related items in total, with the offer commencing last Thursday. The initiative, which is both progressive and compassionate, isn’t for everyone, however there’s no doubt many people have benefited from the act of kindness.
Meanwhile in Australia, we’re beginning to discuss the possibility of medicinal benefits that have already been proven.
